Webelos I
Cub Scouts in Fourth Grade (Webelos I) and Fifth Grade (Webelos II) belong to the Webelos Dens. The Webelos Dens meet each month, at a planned location. The Den Leader plans the meeting schedule and activities for the year to align with the monthly Pack themes and to prepare for the Pack meetings. Parents assist the Den leader as required to conduct the activities of the Dens.
The focus of the Den meeting is on Achievement activities. The Webelos Handbook contains a series of Activity Badges that Webelos
must earn over an 18 month period to qualify for the Arrow of Light Award and advance into Boy Scouts. Each year, the Pack conducts
the Blue and Gold Banquet, during which the Arrow of Light ceremony honors the Webelos II's who have earned the award and are ready
to cross the bridge into Boy Scouts.
