Cub Scouts in Second Grade belong to the Wolf Den. The Wolves meet each month, at a planned location.
The Den Leader plans the meeting schedule and activities for the year to align with the monthly Pack themes and to prepare
for the Pack meetings. Normally, each meeting is hosted by one of the Den parents, who rotate the host reponsibility during
the year.
The focus of the Den meeting is on Achievement activities. The Wolf Handbook contains a series
of Achievements that Wolves must complete with their parent partners during the year to earn the Wolf Badge. As Wolves
complete their achievements, they become eligible to earn Progress Beads that are awarded at Den or Pack meetings. Wolves
can also earn Gold and Silver Arrow Points for completing Elective Activities from their handbook.
In addition to the activities
listed in the Handbook, Wolf cubs really love to earn Belt Loops for Academic and Sports achievements. A complete listing
of Belt loops available and the requirements to earn them can be found at the links listed on the
Info & Links page.
