Tigers
Cub Scouts in first Grade belong to the Tiger Den. The Tigers meet each month, usually at the home of a Den parent, who
serves as the host of the meeting. The Den meeting location rotates during the year so that every parent gets a chance to host.
The focus of the Den meeting is on Achievement activities. The Tiger Handbook contains a series of Achievements that Tigers
must complete with their parent partners during the year to earn the Tiger Badge. As Tigers complete their achievements, and
other activities, they become eligible to earn Progress Beads that are awarded at Pack meetings.
In addition to the activities
listed in the Handbook, Tiger cubs really love to earn Belt Loops for Academic and Sports achievements. A complete listing of
Belt loops available and the requirements to earn them can be found at the links listed on the
Info & Links page.
