Our next Pack meeting with be Thursday, September 18 at the Good Shepherd Church.  The theme is "New Buddies" and we hope to make a few as we welcome all of the new scouts that will be joining our Pack this year.  We will also reveal a new approach to Pack meetings that will get every Den in on the action.  Start time is 7:00 PM.

Our last Pack meeting was the Annual Picnic at Weller Park.  This was the official kickoff to the 2008-9 year and Pack 489 was out in force.  The highlight was the epic kickball battle between the parents and the scouts.  The scouts started a little slow, but were just too much for the parents in the end.  Congratulations Scouts!  Click on the link at right for pictures.

 

 

Pack Meetings occur each month and are the focus of the Advancement activities of the Pack.  Each Den celebrates its Achievements of the month and brings something special to the meeting to share with all.  We always have something fun to do consistent with our monthly themes.
